Prolonged Russia Ukraine conflict is not sustainable - Putin offers ceasefire with terms.

 The planned Russian invasion of Ukraine did not proceed as planned.  It was supposed to be quick lightning invastion.

Many things did not go well for Putin also:    Western nations sanctions, billions in assets frozen in Western bank, insurrection by Wagner, sustained aid by Western nations to Ukraine.   Defeats of the navy, massive loss of tanks (about 2,500) in all, counter attacks by Ukrained.

Many predicted that dire economic conditions may prevent Putin from prolonging the war.  Here it is Putin offering peace - a ceasefire:  with conditions:    Ukraine will leave areas belonging to Russia, and Ukraine not joining NATO

Will peace finally come to Ukraine?  What do you think?

Russia has formally informed US to stop arming Ukraine in conflict with Russia

 Russia has formally written US a diplomatic note, dimarche  to stop arming Ukrainians in its conflict with Russia.  Russia claims iits adding fuel to the conflict and could face possible consequences.   So far US has sent $800 million worth of arms to Ukraine. bringing a total of $2.6 billion so far since the start of the conflict last February 24, 2022.   

The convoy bringing in the war materiel can be considered military targets, which Russia has not done so far.  But harming the campaign will increase the number of parties to the war (and hence a world war)

Russia sees those who aid their current enemies Ukraine as their enemies and can be drawn  into the conflict and hence into a world war.  It could escalate into war between superpowers    US and USSR.
