It looks very scary that nuclear 3rd world threat is very visible in the media?   This reminds us of the movie "Twilight last Gleaming"  and even Crimson Tide.   The scene of nuclear winter and end of the world suddenly becomes surreal.

Indeed will Putin pull the nuclear trigger.  Many say he is a good man and is Christian and will do nothing to even think of doing these despicable thing.  But he does. 

Brought to the the  brink by the economic sanctions and the aiding by Western countries of Ukraine, the possibility is he  will.    

Only prayers perhaps, miracle a event just like conversion of St Paul can change the situation and give enlightenment to Putin

In the meantime the  Preppers are right and most likely to form the core of the  new generation.

The continued economic sanctions and  the  stubborn resistance of Ukraine may cause the diminution of Russias ability to manufacture munition and may weaken Russia economically.   It may be forced to use nuclear weapons to speed up the  conclusion of its Ukraine invasions

World War 3 may have started since Russia invaded Ukraine - Zelensky said in interview

World War 3 may have started since the conflict started last February 24, 2022 according to Pres Zelensky in a television interview at NBC news.  

His statements are meant to get aid and assistance but are involving the world in the conflict

The outcome of Russian President Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine has yet to be decided, but it's possible the decision has set off a path to a full-scale global war, Zelenskyy told “NBC Nightly News” anchor Lester Holt when asked whether he understood concerns from President Joe Biden about not escalating tensions with or provoking Moscow.

"Nobody knows whether it may have already started. And what is the possibility of this war if Ukraine will fall, in case Ukraine will? It's very hard to say," Zelenskyy said. "And we've seen this 80 years ago, when the Second World War had started ... nobody would be able to predict when the full-scale war would start."

He further emphasized that the outcome of this war puts the "whole civilization at stake."

Russia has formally informed US to stop arming Ukraine in conflict with Russia

 Russia has formally written US a diplomatic note, dimarche  to stop arming Ukrainians in its conflict with Russia.  Russia claims iits adding fuel to the conflict and could face possible consequences.   So far US has sent $800 million worth of arms to Ukraine. bringing a total of $2.6 billion so far since the start of the conflict last February 24, 2022.   

The convoy bringing in the war materiel can be considered military targets, which Russia has not done so far.  But harming the campaign will increase the number of parties to the war (and hence a world war)

Russia sees those who aid their current enemies Ukraine as their enemies and can be drawn  into the conflict and hence into a world war.  It could escalate into war between superpowers    US and USSR.

 About 2,500 soldiers are holed up in a steel mill in Mariupol.  They got a surrender or die ultimatum.  It is subject to intense bombing.   The hopes for rescue and resupply are not forthcoming
